Judy is an elite special education consultant and advocate with more than two decades of administrative, private program, and public school district experience across Wisconsin, New Jersey, Illinois, and California. Holding both teaching and supervisory credentials in four states, Judy has dedicated her career to program development, staff training, and the executive administration of services for students with complex disabilities from preschool through adulthood.
Her academic foundation seamlessly bridges specialized instruction and clinical therapeutic needs. Judy holds a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education from the University of Wisconsin and a Master’s Degree in Communication Science and Disorders from Montclair State University. This unique intersection of expertise allows her to evaluate psychoeducational and speech-language assessments with the eye of a clinician, while formatting real-world classroom modifications that school staff can successfully implement.
Having served in high-level supervisory and program specialist roles within top-tier school districts, Judy possesses an intimate understanding of district-level budget structures, compliance frameworks, and resource allocation. She now uses this "insider" knowledge to empower parents, offering premium, strategic remote advocacy across California to help families secure the precise programming and placements their children need to thrive.
Most recently, since 2002, she has developed and managed programs, training and services for the students with a variety of disabilities, PreK thru Grade 12, in the Poway Unified School District in San Diego, California. In addition, in 2009, she founded Autism Education Services, a private organization dedicated to providing consultation, training and support to individuals, families and schools working with students with autism and other disabilities. Her training and research interests include inclusive preschool and elementary programming.
